We spent a lot of time this fall playing football or watching football. Kaleb's coaches kindly sent us pictures from a couple of games. My favorite part is the expression on his face.
  • When you turn twelve you don't go trick or treating, however you may still need a costume.
  • Dad's who went on missons, usually have cool stuff
  • When picking a costume use it to get your mom to shave off your head
  • Be glad you don't have to dress up for junior high

Tricked and Treating

I tried to get Jonathan and Max to wear certain unused costumes from the Halloween box this year. No luck. The coveted football and fireman costumes show up again. Sara was in her words "a pumpkin patch". She found the fairy shoes and wore them also. A pumpkin fairy who was so happy to go trick or treating. She wished everyone Happy Halloween. You can see her glow in this picture at the prospects of treats. No tricks and lots of treats.

Science projects were put in the school curriculum to challenge parent's and to make sure they could still think and sure enough we got tested.

Kaleb put together a great idea.  Dropping eggs on the roadside.  Wear your seat belt or this could happen to you.
Kaleb is so lucky.  For two years he was able to compete in the Geography Bee.  Nervous...I am!

Duck .....Duck

We love our duck book.  We love books.  We love reading books to our kids.  Duck? Duck?
  1. Before the Klondike they were this happy. (They were afterwards too.)
  2. As eleven year olds they did amazing....
  3. It is best to look cool when your cold.
  4. Thank goodness for great Scout Leaders!

The camera can mostly be found lately in the hands of the kids.  This wall in the backround has now been fixed and I love it.  It only took us a couple of years ... can I claim busy for the umpteenth time.  This is probably the last picture with Sara's binkie... we miss you.

  • glasses worn for a few months
  • Christmas still out and about
  • diapers to change, noses to wipe
  • Happiness looking into this picture
